There's Violence in our Midst

We all still have yet to come across another citizen of the world. Despite both regularly patrolling our land (which we have proved is inhabited) and extensively traveling the waterways in search of treasures, not one person has been located.

One thing we see quite often is abandoned settlements. They all display some degree of decay, and a few show signs of battles. Others are more mysterious. However, in checking out one such settlement, I saw a strange and foreboding reference to our neighbors.

Taunting is hardly unusual in Haven, but the fact remains. We must presume that our neighbors are active, lurking, and hostile.

Luckily, we are not shit. We have just finished constructing a mine. However, the rock underneath is uncommonly strong. We may need to pump some iron before we get some iron.
